This is really represents one of the denser areas of residential homes in the Valley. The 'Mid-Heights' includes Areas between the downtown area and the Heights of Hood River. The Hospital is located here as are several of the cities churches and schools. The swim centere is walking distance from most neighborhoods and homes here range in age from the early 1900's to those built last year. Many of the older homes have been or are being renovated and about half have views of the Columbia River.
